Lighthou5e returns with New York Jordan, a hard-hitting 4-track EP inspired by the unrelenting drive and competitive edge of Michael Jordan. Recorded over the span of a single week in mid-April, this release marks the first project of the year from the Brooklyn-bred emcee, delivered with an urgency and intensity that mirrors the mindset of its namesake.

Unlike Lighthou5e’s more laid-back catalog, New York Jordan is fueled by grit, focus, and lyrical ferocity. “Rap is a contact sport,” he states. “You can’t be in this thinking everything and everybody is cool. Nah! I’m cooler than everybody.” That energy pulses through the project—serious, focused, and unbothered.

Conceptually tight and creatively daring, the EP is an artistic pivot. It was built from the ground up as a personal challenge: create, produce, and release a fully realized body of work in a week.
